My Favorite Shorts Turned Into My Lucky Shorts

The other day my Dad came out to the pool before dinner to chat with my sister and I. We talked about our day for a while and he said that if I wanted to he would bring my sister and me to our church parking lot to practice my driving. I will be getting my learners permit next year and Dad always lets us drive around the church parking lot for practice.

There are very few things that will get me to put clothes on after a relaxing afternoon skinny dip…but driving Moms car will do it! So my sister and I dried off and went into the house to get dressed. We have to get out of the car to swap drivers so being that it’s the church parking lot and all, we really should have clothes on. Besides, it’s on a busy street and we don’t want to flash anyone passing by!

We both put on shorts and shirts and jumped in the car for our trip across town. We skipped the bras and panties because we really hate them, and comfort is the key to good driving! I had on my favorite pair of cut offs and a thin white muscle shirt/wife beater. I didn’t realize it or really much care, but my sister pointed out on the way to the car that she could see right thru my top. She sarcastically complemented me on the fact that she could see my bronze nipples as clear as day.

We don’t purposely dress like that when we go out around town, and I assured her I did not do it on purpose. However if we are traveling out of town on vacations we do get to wear cute clothes that are not so conservative. I have some really short shorts that I only wear around the house or when we travel…the kind that you don’t want your English teacher to see your butt cheeks in while shopping at the mall. But if the mall is a couple of hours out of town, I will risk it.

So we pulled into the parking lot and Dad and I swapped places. He let me drive around and practice my parking skills…that need a little more work. Then my sister and I swapped places and it was her turn. I got one more turn and then Dad said we better head back for dinner. We traded places and as he was pulling out of the parking lot I thought I would get rid of these pesky clothes for the ride home. I got my shorts unsnapped and unzipped, and about half way down my hips when Dad said I should leave them on because we were stopping at the store. I pulled them back on and looked down at my thin top to find that the cold air conditioner was making my headlights come on… (My nipples where hard and poking).

We pulled into the grocery store parking lot and I told Dad I wasn’t dressed for a shopping trip. He smiled and said I looked beautiful, and that we were not shopping. He told me to get out of the car because I was going to drive the rest of the way home! So I ran around and got behind the wheel.

This was my first time to drive on a real road…although not a very legal thing to do. I got in and turned on the side street that took us a couple of miles out of town towards our neighborhood. Then down our winding road to our house. It was so fun and I think I did a good job. After all we stayed out of the ditches. I walked into the house from the garage and stripped off my favorite shorts and shirt at the laundry room door. I told my Dad that these were my lucky driving clothes and I would wear them every time I drive from now on!

The Talk

The talk went much better than expected. I told them everything. How Dad was raised nude by my grandparents, and how Mom started going nude after she started dating Dad. I told them how my sister and I have always been nude at home. And how I genuinely hate to wear clothes, and only do so when I have too. I told them how Katherine (Kat) started going skinny dipping with me during the summers when we were little. And thru the years has become comfortable enough to go nude with me and my family. I also told them how we have to be careful about who knows about our little nudist home, because the good conservative folks around here would freak out.

Maddie said that it was no surprise to her since I always seem to find an excuse to be naked. Allie said that she noticed little comments that I make, and agreed with Maddie that it was no surprise. They made me feel such a relief when they said it did not change our friendship, and that they would keep our secret. We talked into the early morning hours. They had lots of questions, and I was honest with them and told them everything I could.

We spent the rest of the weekend talking, and relaxing around the pool. We were all nude as much as possible this weekend. Maddie and Allie even slept nude with Kat and I. They truly tried to be nude as much as possible and would only wrap a towel around them briefly if Dad was around. But he stayed away except for lunch and dinner. He didn’t want to make the girls uncomfortable, so he kept busy away from the house or up in his office. Mom would come and chat with us, and told the girls that she was glad that they finally knew. I could see that as the weekend went by they were more at ease about being nude around my Mom. It was great. Maddie and Allie watched as Kat, my sister or I would take turns running naked into the house for drinks though out the day. With my parents asleep, I even got all of them to walk nude with me into the kitchen to get our late night snacks. We went for another afternoon nude hike to the creek on Saturday, and this time I didn’t have to talk anyone into it…Maddie was the one who suggested it!

We spent our Sunday morning by the pool, planning our next get together. Dad didn’t eat lunch with us, so we ate with Mom and Karen out by the pool. I noticed right away that this time, Mom was the only one dressed at the table. I didn’t make a big deal out of Maddie and Allie not being wrapped up in their towels. Instead I asked Mom if she would like to join us. All my friends joined in and agreed that she should join us for an after lunch swim. Mom just smiled and said maybe next time. With a big smile on her face she looked at me and said, “I thought we were going to ease into all of this”.

By late Sunday afternoon all of us got dressed as the Moms were about to pick up my friends. They all commented on how “funny” the clothes felt on them. I told them that’s what happens when you spend a couple of days nude…your skin thinks your clothes are something alien, and all your nerves on your skin feel funny. Who knows, maybe know they will understand why I dislike wearing clothes.

Allie was the first to leave, and then Maddie. Kat’s Mom came about an hour later, which gave us enough time to compare notes on how we thought the girls took the news. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and Kat and I even wished we would have told them earlier in the summer. I think everything is going to be alright.

A Hike To The Creek

On Friday we started our day just as we did the day before. We picked up the girls for another day of skinny dipping. This time my sister Karen was going to join us. All the girls are going to spend the weekend with us. So I have a few days to figure out how I am going to have my long talk with my friends. While we were driving Mom reassured me that I was making the right decision. She said that after yesterday’s day of swimming the girls seemed much more at ease by the time they left to go home.

We picked up the girls and arrived back at our house. We went straight to my bedroom, but this time I said, “We all know we are going to spend the day naked, I’m not even going to bother changing into my bikini. Let’s just grab our towels and not even bother changing.” Kat immediately agreed and we all started to strip. Maddie and Allie wrapped their towels around them, but Kat and I just grabbed out towels in our hand and walked out into the living room. I looked out our French doors towards the pool and saw that my little sister Karen was already in the pool. We stood there and chatted with Mom, and she and I purposely talked about stuff for a good while. I wanted to show the girls that Mom was cool with Kat and me being nude around her.

Mom told us that she was going to do her usual lunch and would let us know when it was ready. We all walked out onto the back porch and out to the pool, and to my surprise Maddie and Allie had pulled their towels off before we even stepped off the porch. We arranged our chairs and joined my sister in the pool for a morning swim.

The day went on with no issues. Mom came out and served us lunch and chatted with us as we all ate. This time, Maddie and Allie were the only ones at the table with towels wrapped around them. They got to see that Mom had no issue with my sister and me sitting naked along with Kat. I suggested that after lunch we take a hike thru the woods and go down to the creek for a skinny dip. Allie seemed worried about walking nude thru the woods so far from home. I assured her that Karen and I do it often, and Mom even spoke up and said that she even joins us at times and not to worry. The more we talked about it, the more the girls would giggle with big smiles on their face…I knew we had talked them into it.

So after lunch we went on a little hike down to the creek. It was the first time that Maddie and Allie walked in the forest as nature intended us to be. It was a hot summer day so we all were very hot and ready to hit the cool water. They commented on how fun the naked hike was and we all had a good afternoon skinny dipping in the creek. At one point two canoeist came around the bend in the creek. We just lowered ourselves down with just our heads showing. The older couple just kept on paddling right past us with just a little friendly wave.

We did not bring any towels on our hike, so we just drip dried as we hiked back home. With the summer heat here in Texas, it doesn’t take long to dry off. We walked out of the edge of the woods into our clearing out back by our pond. We were hot from our hike and Allie raced my little sister and both of them took a leap off the wooden dock into the water. As we all followed I looked back toward the house and noticed my father’s truck parked in his spot next to the driveway. The time had flown by and while we were down at the creek, Dad had come home from work.

We swam for a sort bit just to cool off, and slowly started walking across our back yard towards the pool. We have a few acres of a back yard, and our leisurely walk took a while. I noticed how none of my friends seemed to be in a hurry and no one was worried about covering up. We had spent our entire afternoon about a mile into the woods, far away from a towel or any clothes. And all of my friends enjoyed the experience and we all had smiles on our faces.

When we reached the pool we all dove in to cool off. I noticed by the way the shadows were almost to the pools edge, that it was getting late. After a while Mom came walking out to the pool. Everyone was at ease and did not bother covering up. She asked how our swim went and everyone told her how they enjoyed the hike. After a few minutes of chatting, Dad came walking out of the back door walking towards the grill. He ignored us and just opened the lid to prepare for dinner. Allie saw him and freaked. She grabbed the edge of the pool and she and Maddie lowered themselves until their chins were barely above the water. My sister Karen giggled and said, “It’s just Dad!” as she got out of the pool and casually grabbed her towel and walked past Dad on her way into the house. Mom said that dinner would be ready in a bit, and her and Dad walked back into the house like nothing was out of the ordinary.

Maddie asked what were we going to do, and I answered, “Looks like we are going to have burgers for dinner.” I got out of the pool and started to dry off with my towel. Kat did the same. Allie and Maddie would not get out and Kat brought them their towels. They wrapped themselves up as they got out, and with red faces they followed us into the house to go to my room. The only difference was that Kat and I did not have our towels around us. We said hello to Dad as we walked past him to go to my room, and Dad replied, “Hello Ladies”.

As we were getting dressed Maddie and Allie could not believe that Kat and I walked right past my Dad butt naked. Maddie said that her Dad would have freaked. And Allie said hers would have grounded her for the summer. We talk for a bit about how laid back my parents are about nudity. Although I didn’t want too, I put a tee shirt on and announced that this was my dinner attire…no bra or panties, just a tee shirt. Kat agreed with me, but the other girls insisted on shorts and a tee.

We ate dinner as usual, and Dad asked how our day was. I confidently told him that we spent the day skinny dipping, and that we even hiked down to the creek. He smiled and said he was glad that we had a good day. He told us all that he was going to spend the evening working in his home office, and that we could relax and enjoy our evening swim as he would not be bothering us. He even told us good night as he was leaving the table.

We spent the rest of the night swimming and floating around the pool looking at the stars. Everything felt right. We had a good day, everyone had a little nude adventure and my friends seemed to enjoy their day. My sister got out of the pool and announced she was going to sleep, she dried off and left us. I knew it was time. I took a deep breath, and announced to everyone…,”I have something to talk about with you all.”   Now there is no turning back.

Swim Fest

Yesterday all the girls came back over for a swim day. Kats Mom dropped her off early in the morning while on her way to work. Kat came in my room and woke me up, and we both laid around in bed anxiously waited to hear from Maddie and Allie. My sister Karen was going to spend the day with her best friend, so we would have the pool to ourselves.

When they finally woke up, they texted us that they were ready and my Mom drove us to pick them up. We dropped off my sister at her friend’s house, and then went on to Maddie’s house where Allie had spent the night.

We drove straight back to our house and as we walked thru the door Mom stopped us all as if to make a big announcement. She made a point in telling all of us how she was going to be busy in the kitchen fixing lunch, and would not be checking on us until the food was ready. She said we had a couple of hours of swim time all to ourselves before she would bother us…it was so obvious, I think everyone got the hint.

We went off to my room and we all changed into our bikinis. I started to suggest that we don’t even bother, but remembered what Mom said about easing into things. We each grabbed a towel and off we went outside to the pool. We pulled up our lounge chairs for maximum sun exposure, and put our towels down so we could lay on them. We helped each other oil up for our tanning session making sure everyone got an even coat on our backs.

We laid on our stomach and everyone undid their bikini tops so we wouldn’t get strap marks on our backs. As the summer sun came down on us we all started to get hot and sweaty. Allie made the comment that she was going to cool off in the water, and started to retie her top before she got up. I saw this as a good chance to go for it, so I just sat up without putting my top on, and winked at Kat. Without hesitation she did the same. We both got up and walking over to the pool topless. Maddie also got up without her top, and walked over to the edge of the pool to join Kat and me. We went into the water and waited on Allie, who just smiled and undid her top and came in the pool to join us.

So we were all now topless, which is no big deal as we have done this a few times before. We played around and splashed each other, and after a while I reached down in the water and slid my bottoms off and thru them at my chair. Kat did the same and we each climbed on our floats. I said “You know Mom doesn’t care, let’s relax and get some sun”. With that Maddie and Allie pulled off their bottoms, and soon all of us were floating around the pool in our birthday suits.

We had a good day sun bathing and cooling off in the pool. Everyone got a good dose of sun and Allie’s butt seemed to be a bit rosier than Maddie’s. Mom came out to ask if we wanted to eat outside by the pool. We all said yes, and we just wrapped our towels around us to eat lunch…again, I started to suggest that we don’t even bother. But I remembered I was supposed to ease into this!

After lunch Mom picked up the plates, and walked back into the house. We all just dropped our towels and continued on with our little swim fest! Later that afternoon we all got dressed as Allies Mom drove up to bring her and Maddie home. We all had a great day and everyone is looking forward to spending the weekend together.

My Surprising Afternoon

Today was such a wonderful day!

My parents agreed to let me talk with my friends Maddie and Allie about our nudity here at home. We all discussed it over dinner the other night. I feel it is a big step for all of us and the whole family will have to put our trust in my friends.

Mom said she would help me talk with the girls if I needed it, but she made it clear that I just couldn’t spring it on them. She expects me to ease into this gradually…and suggested that the easiest way is to skinny dip more!

My friend Kat and I invited Maddie and Allie to spend the night with us here at home. Maddie has plans with her family in the evenings and can’t do a sleep over until this weekend. But they both agreed to spend the day with us today. But instead of swimming the girls wanted to go see a movie. How upsetting! How was I to get them to skinny dip if they didn’t even want to swim?!

Maddie’s Mom dropped them both off and had a nice visit with Mom. Kat had spent the night last night, and we both stayed up late. So we normally sleep in but we woke up early this morning all excited about our day! We hung out for a while then we all piled into Moms car and she drove us to our local Mexican restaurant for lunch. We were all in shorts and tee shirts since we didn’t expect to run into any cute guys today.

During lunch I almost lost it when Allie asked Mom jokingly if Kat and I behaved ourselves last night, and Mom put a big smile on her face and told them that yes we behaved and how she had a fun time skinny dipping with us a little before bed time. Kat and I looked at each other and we both knew what Mom was trying to do. We both just smiled and acted like it was no big deal. The girls giggled and commented on how wonderful and cool Mom is. The girls have skinny dipped with us before, but never with Mom. Mom moved on to talk about other things, not to make a big deal out of it.

After lunch Mom drove to the movie theater, bought us all tickets and gave me money for snacks. The girls and I settled in with popcorn and chocolate and enjoyed the show. We all agreed on watching the Minions…to be honest, Kat and I didn’t care what we watched. We just wanted to get back home and cool off in the pool and put our plan in action.

So after the movie, I texted Mom and she picked us up. We stopped by for ice cream on the way home and everyone was happy and in a good mood. But as we arrived back home Maddie said that her Mom sent her a text and would be picking them up shortly. Maddie’s Mom is one of those Moms who always has a hectic schedule and isn’t spontaneous at all. I assumed the girls would stay for dinner…and a little swimming, but now our little visit would be cut short.

We walked in the house and they all agreed to walk the dog with me, so we went out the back door into our back yard. We walked past the pool and I made a comment on how hot it was and I wish they could stay for a swim. We walked all the way to the back of the property to our pond. We walked out to the end of our wooded pier, and Allie commented on how clear the water looked. Without warning someone pushed me, and as I was falling off the pier I grabbed Allies arm and down both us went.

The water was cool and felt good as I came up to the surface, only to see Kat pushing Maddie over the edge. Both of them came splashing down next to me. We all giggled and splashed water on each other. We played around for a while and I suggested that we strip off our wet clothes. Maddie looked at Allie and said it would be nice, but her Mom was coming. So we all kept our wet clothes on and took turns jumping off the pier and having a good time. After a while I looked up to see that my Mom and Maddie’s Mom had walked out to the edge of the pier to look for us. We all laughed and climbed out since we knew it was time for the girls to leave. We walked back to the house dripping wet. As we were walking my Mom told us all how we should have stripped off and skinny dipped before getting our clothes wet. Maddie’s Mom even commented on how nice and private our place was and that no one would have seen us…almost agreeing with Mom! When we got to the back porch, my Mom said to go inside and the girls could change into some of my dry clothes for the trip home.

Maddie was about to open the back door when her Mom told her “ Miss Maddison, don’t you dare go inside this house dripping wet!”. She told Maddie and Allie to strip out of their wet clothes before they went inside. I was shocked that I heard her very conservative and prudish Mom say that. Maddie did not even hesitate, and pulled down her shorts and panties, and then peeled off her tee shirt. While she was unsnapping her bra the rest of us did the same. So there we were, all four of us butt naked on the back porch. We all stood there wringing out our hair and I couldn’t help but notice that none of us were in a hurry. We stood there chatting for what seemed like a long time, considering our friends were standing nude in front of what we thought was a very prudish Mom. After a while we were somewhat drip dry, and Maddie’s Mom announced that it was time to get going. Allie and Maddie walked in the back door followed by Kat. I lingered for a second and told Maddie’s Mom that I was sorry we got Maddie’s clothes wet, and that I would wash them for her. I said, “See, we should have just skinny dipped!”

I grabbed us each a towel and joined the girls in my room. Maddie and Allie picked out some dry clothes and got dressed. I stayed wrapped in a towel and Kat did the same. I told Maddie that I hope she didn’t get in trouble, and Maddie said her Mom seemed fine. We all walked the girls outside and gave our hugs and said goodbye still wrapped in our towels. As they drove off, Kat and Mom agreed with me that Maddie’s Mom sure surprised us.

Mom said that while we were in my room dressing, Maddie’s Mom made the comment that she noticed Kat and I didn’t have tan lines. She asked Mom if she allowed me go to the tanning salon. Mom told her that she thought tanning beds were too dangerous for kids, and that she just lets me tan nude by the pool. Maddie’s Mom said that Maddie has been begging to go to the tanning beds, and she thought they were too dangerous also.

I just smiled and thought to myself that this might be easier than I thought. As my friend’s car disappeared out of sight, I pulled off my towel and announced that I was swimming until dinner. Kat smiled and followed me into the house with our towels in our hand.

Chat with Mom

This morning Mom and I had a long talk about what has been bothering me. I have been thinking a lot lately about telling more of my friends about how we live here at home. I am worried about it affecting our friendship and of course the more people that know our little family secret, the greater chance of the whole school finding out.

I talked it over with my Mom and she expressed her concern about being very picky about who we tell. Her job as a teacher could be affected and in this very conservative community we are sure she would lose her job. Who wants a nudist teaching their kids how to be upstanding citizens, right?

But I told her I have been dropping hints with my friends Maddison and Allie, and Mom already knows that we have gone skinny dipping here at our pool. So I already know they are somewhat open minded. And it would be nice if I didn’t have to be so concerned about being dressed all the time while they were here. I told her that Kat and I both agree that they would not freak out, and could be trusted to keep our secret even if they didn’t want to go nude with us. I am thinking that even if they are not cool with hanging out nude with us, they would not be offended if we were more relaxed about our nudity around them when they came to visit.

Maddison and Allie are a package deal. We can’t approach one without the other. They are like my best friend Kat and I, they have been best friends since elementary school. They are inseparable, I can sometimes get one of them to come spend the night without the other…but it rarely happens.

My parents have a “don’t ask, don’t tell” rule here at home. If my sister or I have a friend who wants to go skinny dipping or lay out nude with us, we don’t ask their parents’ permission and we surely don’t tell them after. But this is something more than just the occasional skinny dip. This is putting a lot of trust in my friends.

My parents are wonderful. My sister and I are so lucky. And all of my friends love them and wish their parents were more like them. My mother told me that she actually was surprised I hadn’t asked her about this sooner. She said that she trust my judgement, and it made me feel good to hear her say it.

Mom thought it over and said that she agreed that Allie and Maddison could be trusted, but will talk it over with Dad. I am so happy and excited. Now Kat and I are going to celebrate by spending the day naked by the pool, planning how we are going to do this! If it all works out this will be such a great summer!

Watching Fireworks

Yesterday being the 4th of July, I was looking forward to a nice day out by the pool covered in oil and enjoying the sunshine…it rained most of the day!

To be honest rain makes me sleepy, so I napped most of the day…Ok, I slept the whole damn day! Lol

My best friend (bff) Kat showed up in the afternoon. Walked into my bedroom and woke me up. Of course I didn’t want to get out of bed, so she stripped down and laid down next to me. Kat has been my friend since elementary school. She spends just as much time with us here than she does with her own family. Over the years she has come to enjoy spending her time nude with me here at home, and is comfortable to be free around my parents.

We had planned on her coming over to our house earlier in the day to enjoy some pool time. But the weather got bad so she just stayed home until the late afternoon. She just lives a street over from us and sometimes walks over, but today her Mom dropped her off.

While I was sleeping, my family ate dinner without me. So Kat and I went into the kitchen and served up some dinner while Mom sat with us at the table to chat with us. My sister Karen was waiting on her best friend to show up for our little swim fest so her and Mom were still dressed. Her friend’s Mother was going to come in to talk with Mom so they had to be “decent”. Dad had already left to pick up some fireworks, so it was just us girls.

The rain had stopped by the time we finished eating and we went out to the pool to get everything ready for the night. Dad arrived right as my sister’s best friend and Mother showed up. Mom and Dad exchanged the usual “yes we will be home all night” and “no there won’t be any boys” and then the mother drove away. When the coast was clear the girls stripped off and came out running for the pool. All of us girls played in the pool while our father set up our little fireworks show.

Just a note: Sparks and naked bodies don’t mix! So when it got dark we all put on tee shirts and helped Dad lite the fireworks. When ours were all popped, we stripped off the shirts and settled back in the pool on our floats. My parents went inside and we girls spent the rest of the evening watching the fireworks show from our pool. The sky was beautiful, and the smoked looked like a fog across our back yard. We all floated watching the light show with the scent of gunpowder blowing in the breeze. I love it when we are all together like this. It’s just always nice to be able to relax and be yourself with your friends around. Kat is the only one of my friends who knows we go nude at home.

It got real late, and we dried off and went to our bedrooms. Kat and I curled up in bed and talked into the early morning. Mostly about our other friends…and a little about boys. We talked about if we should introduce our other friends into our little nudist paradise. It’s something we talk about often these days. Our friends have skinny dipped with us before, but they do not know about my nudist family. That conversation brought up all kinds of other complicated things like what if everyone at school found out? Or what if our friends would think we were crazy. We discussed who would be cool with it and talked about how to talk with them about it…we will see. I will have to clear it with my parents. That will be an interesting conversation.

I had left the blinds open to my bedroom window so we could see the occasional fireworks going off in the night. So with the morning sun shining thru my window across my bed, we woke up this morning spooning like we always do. We had a lazy morning and after Moms famous Sunday brunch we decided to spend the rest of the afternoon swimming and working on our all over tan. I grabbed my laptop to work on my blog. We took turns rubbing tanning lotion on each other’s back. After all that what friends do…they got your back! So far I’m thinking we are having a great summer!

Beach Day Trip

It seems the summer is flying by! I have been so busy having fun and enjoying my summer that I find it hard to take the time to post to my Blog…sorry for the delay.

One day last week my mother took my sister and I for a day trip to our local beach. Mom is a school teacher and is off of work all summer with us. Which is great because we get to go to the beach during the week when it is not so crowded. We have a usual place that we go and if we are lucky there is not a lot people on the beach, and if there are a few they are usually not locals.

My mother would probably lose her job if word got out that she hangs out at the public beach to do a little nude sunbathing with her kids. It doesn’t seem fair, but we live in a very conservative community and unfortunately not everyone is as open minded as our family is. But fortunately for us, since it was a weekday and a threat of an afternoon thunderstorm, our little piece of beach paradise was almost deserted. Last summer we had a problem with nasty seaweed washing ashore. But so far this summer the beach is clear.

We parked in our usual spot, so we could lay out between the car and the park boundary fence. So anyone who would drive that far down the beach would have to turn around before they reached our spot. Then all we had to do is look for the occasional beach comber. I scanned the beach in both directions, and our nearest neighbor was so far away that they looked like ants. So we stripped down and arranged our lounge chairs for optimum sun exposure and settled in on a wonderful day in the sunshine. The thunderheads were forming off in the distance but the rain stayed mostly inland away from the beach.

My sister and took turns pushing each other around the surf in our big inner tube that we always bring. The warm water swirling around me in the surf felt wonderful. I always prefer skinny dipping at the beach than in our pool at home. The waves and the swirling water have such a relaxing effect on me. I think everyone should try a good skinny dip in the ocean! Take off those nasty, clinging bathing suits and give it a try!

We laid out and worked on our tan, and spent the rest of the day relaxing without anyone walking past. Of course Mom is always on the lookout for cars and people walking up on us, but the beach was nice and quiet. I cannot explain how relaxing it is to spend the day at the beach without having to constantly adjust a nasty wet bathing suit. The sea breeze blowing around you…it is just a wonderfully relaxing experience. Even with the threat of rain we were still able to get a good dose of sun…I hope I don’t peel!

When it was time to go, we took the air out of our inner tube and packed up the lounge chairs. Mom threw on a tee shirt for the drive home, and my sister and I just put our towels down on the seat and drove home nude. Mom has tinted windows so there is no need to cover up, and my sister and I are always trying to see just how long we can go without covering up anyway.

On the way home Mom pulled into a drive thru to get dinner. I was on the passenger side, so I just pulled a towel up around me to cover up. My sister was sitting behind Mom and was out of view of the girl at the window…so she didn’t even cover up. She looked at me and stuck out her tongue…and I wondered why I always have to get the shotgun seat!

Mowing Au Naturale

Today was an interesting day…I cut grass today. I’ve done it before, but this was the first time I actually started the mower and cut the entire property without my Dads help. I feel like such a responsible young adult!

Last night my father came into my bedroom and asked if I could do him a favor. He said that with the storm brewing out in the gulf, we are expecting a lot of rain this week. And he asked if I would help him by cutting the grass while he was at work. I was so excited! I know that most teenage girls would roll their eyes if their fathers asked them to cut grass…but I like doing stuff outside, and I figured I could work on my tan while I mowed.

I woke up this morning and just kind of laid around in bed for a while letting the sheets flow across my skin. I just like the feeling in the morning of the sheets against my nakedness. If you haven’t tried sleeping nude, I highly recommend it. It is so much more comfortable than trying to sleep with clothes aggravatingly tugging on you all night long.

Anyway, I got out of bed and after putting in my contacts, walked in the kitchen for some breakfast. I then just lounged around the house until the morning dew burned off the grass. Which gave me plenty of time to load up on coffee so I could have energy for my busy day…lol.

I don’t like to use the weed eater, and Dad said not to worry about it, he would trim after he got home this evening (he doesn’t like how I do it anyway). So when the grass was dry I went to my bed room and thru on a pair of cutoff shorts and a tee shirt, and headed out of the house. I got on the zero turn mower and tried to remember how to start it. Dad showed me a few times, but he was always there to make sure I did it right. After a few attempts, I gave in and called him. He talked me thru it again and soon it was purring like a kitten!

I drove the mower down our drive way to the gate. I had to get off the mower and open the gate so I could mow down the road in front of our fence. Our driveway makes a bend a few feet after you pass our gate. So from the road you can see just a few feet of our driveway and then nothing but woods. So the house and entire yard is not visible from the road. I cut on both sides of the driveway until I got to the bend. Then I stopped the mower and shut the gate…all was good then.

I rode the mower straight to the house and turned it off. I walked into my bedroom and stripped off my clothes, and then got a giant glass of sweet tea. I walked back out to the mower butt naked, and put my tea in the cup holder. The only thing on my body was my sunglasses…I looked so cool! I started the mower again like a pro, and spun it around and started cutting the grass. As long as I stayed clear of the bend in our driveway, no one could see me. Our road gets so little traffic, I could have walked out in the middle of the road and stood for 30 minutes and no one would have driven by, or seen me at all…but I wanted to stay out of trouble.

It normally takes my Dad 4 hours to cut our yard (we have a big yard), but I would stop from time to time to refill my tea. Mom would tell me what a good job I was doing, and even came out to take some pictures of the big event. A couple of times I would stop and shower off the grass clippings that would stick to me when the wind would blow them on me…so it took most of the day to cut our lawn.

But it looked good when I finished, and I got to work on my tan in the process. And cutting grass without clothes on is fun! I had a great time and got pretty good at it by the time I was finished. Now I have something else to add to my list of things to do in the nude.

Playing In The Garden

This afternoon I saw my Dad walking over to his garden area pushing a wheel barrow, so I took the bait and thought I might go see what the fuss was about. My sister and I had been swimming most of the day and working on our all over tan, so I took a good sip of my sweet tea that was next to my lounge chair and walked around the pool and headed out to our garden area back toward the pond.

Dad has always had a big vegetable garden and in recent years I have taken an interest in raising our own healthy organic food. So a couple of years ago I started my own little garden to grow some of my favorite veggies. With the help of my Dad I have four 4×8 raised beds that I can play mad scientist in. Dad gives me pointers from time to time, but mostly lets me learn as I go.

So when I saw him with the wheel barrow I thought something exciting might be happening in the garden. Although I know sometimes the sight of a wheel barrow might mean more work to do…I just couldn’t resist.

Dad explained to me that there is a storm forming in the gulf and we are expecting a lot of rain this coming week. I immediately though about how our pool time will be cut short this week, but tried not to seem too selfish and listened to what Dad had to say. He said he had to pull out the remaining and already waterlogged garlic that he has been trying to grow with all the rain we have had this spring and summer.

So never one to pass up a chance to dig in the dirt…I got down on my hands and knees and started pulling up garlic. Dad says your not working unless you heads down and you butt’s up…lol. We separated the different varieties so we can tell them apart after they have dried off. We didn’t use any tools to avoid damaging the bulbs. The dirt is so fluffy that all I had to do is stick my hand down under the bulbs and pull them out.

It was hot and we were both getting sweaty, and I had dirt from my elbows down. And the sweat turned it all to mud. The ground around our raised beds are still wet from our most recent shower, so my knees were muddy and wet. But the good part about digging in the garden without any clothes on, is the cleanup is a breeze! So with the harvest done and the wheel barrow full of fresh garlic, Dad pushed the bounty to the house so he could hang the garlic under our back porch to dry.

I went straight to the outdoor shower off to the side of our pool and showered off. The cool water felt good, but I ran over and dove into the pool to help give me a quick cool down. I asked my sister to bring me my sweet tea, and we both spent the rest of the afternoon floating around the pool.

As I lay there I thought about the bad weather coming, and how it might mess up our pool time this week. I also hoped it wouldn’t mess up anything in my little raised bed garden that I have worked so hard to grow. I like getting dirt on my hands and eating stuff I grow…just makes me happy. And it kind of gets boring just laying around, working on your tan. Gardening allows you to grow good food and work on your tan at the same time. So get out there and plant something!
