Today was another beautiful summer day! My friends spent the day here with me today and we had the house to ourselves. My father was at work and Mom spent all day out shopping, so my friends and I could have the day to ourselves. Before lunch an odd thing happened. We actually put on our bikinis before we went out for a swim. The plan was to take a few photos around the pool so we could put them up on our social media sites, then strip down and enjoy our day laying around nude.
We all took turns taking pictures of each other and we even got one of those disposable water proof cameras to take some underwater shots. We intended to stop taking pictures and strip down to get some sun…but even after we striped off our bikinis there still were plenty of pictures taken. As long as no one else would see them what harm can they do? After all, my parents have thousands of nude pictures of my sister and me as we were growing up.
So we spent the afternoon uploading our bikini pictures to our Facebook and twitter accounts. Which brings up a sore spot with me. I have personal Facebook and twitter accounts that I share with my friends from school. On these accounts I never discuss anything relating to nudism. I also have separate accounts for “nudisuzie” because to be honest, I’m still in the closet with most people I know. I really don’t want my fellow classmates and teachers to know I’m a nudist, because here in the United States…people judge. Being a nudist is still not accepted well here in the Bible belt.
With that being said, I tried to have a separate Facebook account for “nudisuzie” but it didn’t take long for the prudes at Facebook to lock my account and ask me to send a photo I.D. of some sort to identify me. Well a teenage nudist who is trying not to come out of the closet doesn’t want to send a photo I.D. to anyone.
So for now my “nudisuzie” social media reach is limited. Everyone can follow me on twitter, Pinterest, and stumble upon. But I’m sorry to report that Facebook will have to wait until I can figure out a better way.
It just sucks that Facebook will let violent things be posted, but not some innocent pics from a “nudiesuzie.” Such is the world, and uptight society we live in. I’ve never seen stumble upon, I think; but perhaps I can follow you there?

Yeah. I keep my nudism off of facebook and on twitter basically.

Try making an Instagram account
Why would Facebook want a photo ID? Why is a photo necessary?
I really hope that someday they don’t come along and ask me for a photo to prove I am me, I mean it’s not like they know what I look like to begin with, and as it is I am very skitterish about posting any photos of myself as it is!
I guess I’m just very private when it comes to my personal identity… I actually fear the day that FB decides to come after me, demanding to know why I am not using my birth name – I use my nickname online, which is as real a name as any other, I mean let’s be fair on that. Everyone online calls me Tarri, and a greater number of my friends irl call me Tarri… and whenever to do art or writing, I use that name, also.
I can completely understand the not coming out of the closet thing… even my family doesn’t know I’m a nudist (although I wouldn’t be surprised if my brother suspected)… but while I have felt inspiration from you to chronicle my nude experiences (such as when I went skinny dipping at the beach with my best friend in February – she knows I’m a nudist (although she isn’t, but she did try the skinny dipping!)), I am hesitant because this account connects to a bunch of other things, so I’m not sure how I feel about posting them… I guess I’m still in that closet, too… ^^;;
Although I have had trouble with some of my nude art on Deviantart… they have removed some of my art before.
But I keep posting… because… well, there is nothing wrong with nudity, and I’m not going to warp my perspective to fit the ideologies of prudes and such.
OH. And did you know that a couple of times I had to report pornographic images on Facebook? They were clearly sexual… I mean, photos of a penis going inside a vagina, it’s PRETTY hard to miss. I reported it as sexual, they removed it, labeling it as “nudity”.
To be honest, I feel quite insulted by that…
…now I’m ranting… ahaha… ^^;;
Everyone needs to rant now and then…hehe
I had my Facebook account closed by them for posting nude pics that even had my privates covered (I photoshopped a leaf over my genitals). Pornography and violence is fine with them but not nudity.
